COVID-19 (09/15): Taiwan reports one local case, no deaths

Taiwan reported one new local case of COVID-19 on Wednesday. The country also reported four more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan. No additional virus-related deaths were reported on Wednesday.

The new local case announced on Wednesday was a woman in her twenties. She began experiencing symptoms on September 12. The source of the virus is still under investigation, and 45 people are now quarantining at home in connection with this case.

Taoyuan City: 1

Taiwan also recorded four imported cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. They include travelers from France, the United States, and the Philippines.
